But I guess those games weren't right for you. People have the right to dislike something, and wish for different things in a game. I agree that I'm whining over irrelevant things, but so have you judging from your reviews on games. That aside, I've beat it, it was fun and I'll probably play through it again at some point. I was how ever annoyed to find out that there's no concrete way to disable jammers. Now though, I've completed the game and I'm working to 100% it as well. The logic of that alone is another hot mess. Still, the game allows you to tag enemies, and there's literally skills to outline their bodies through buildings. I honestly had no clue there was even jammers in the game at the time I wrote that, I thought my game was bugged since it started on later maps or sections. If the game doesn't, like Arma 3, I wont. :adolf: :trump: :taloslol: As I've already said, if the game allows me to tag enemies, I will use it. But hey if you only feel comfy playing a game where you can mark out all targets so you (like having a 3rd eye or something) alwyas knowing where the enemy is even trough buildings rocks and whatnot then i guess this is not always the right game for you. Mabye there is stuff you just hasnt figured out yet. do you really need to do this ? WELL I GUESS I JUST KILL PEOPLE WITH AR THEN HUH !?!? yea you could do that. WELL I GUESS I CANT PLAY THE SNIPER GAME IF I CANT MARK EVERY ENEMEY IN ALL THE SITUATIONS! cmon man. That's why you need to zero the scope to the correct range, plus the scope show wind and bullet drop so you can go from there how to aim to be able to hit a killing shoot If I don't know how far away they are the bullet is gonna to higher or lower. Or if I have someone spotting for me.Īnyways, I just wanna lay down and snipe. It's different with Arma 3 for example, at least there I know I wont know where they are unless I see or hear them. I just like knowing where enemies are at all times. I was making it a bigger problem than it was. Can't expect the tagging is gonna help you out every time you have to figure out things some time also in the game Never mind. It doesent really break immersion, the devs have said themself the game was gonna be more challenging compared to the others and it is. Just use the binoculars to see how far the rangemeter says they are, use the zeroing on your sniper and boom, it was the same in the other SGW3 and contracts 1 as well, if there was a jammer around you couldn't tag them. I guess I'll grab an AR and go ham in a SNIPER game. Literally brakes immersion to not know how far away the targets are. I wish I knew that before I passed the 2 hour mark. Just going off the numbers though, unsuppressed shots can be heard from 4x the distance as suppressed shots, and flash hiders can be heard at 3x the distance of suppressed shots.Originally posted by Yodah:Well that sucks. UPDATE : I have some information about sound ranges for suppressed vs unsuppressed, but I will need to do some testing on how the numbers I have line up with the AI's response. I tried to make it as cleanly formatted and accessible as possible but any constructive criticism is welcome and appreciated. And yet each of the rifles is unique and fun to use, except for maybe one due to audio issues. The ability to silently kill heavies from long range with standard ammo is invaluable. That said, unless you really need a quick firing weapon, the. 50 rifles, but even then, they are situationally very effective. |.|.|.|.|.|.|.|.|.|.|.|.|.| Scope 3Įach weapon is slightly different, and while there are some that are extremely situational, none of them are really bad choices. The first scope adds 3 evenly spaced zeroing marks in the optimal range bracket at x25, x50, and x75 meters, the second scope adds 4 evenly spaced marks at x20, x40, 圆0, and x80, with the final scope having two marks at 25m increments on either side of the "optimal" bracket
